Designed and built upon the site of the area's previous police facility, this building sits adjacent to Davenport City Hall and the County Courthouse/Jail. A skywalk connects the police facility to the courthouse. The exterior is comprised of precast concrete & aluminum panels and includes large expanses of glazing integrated with sun shading devices. Sunscreens are installed according to calculated positions to ensure proper control of direct sunlight and to optimize the diffusion of natural light within interior environments. The police facility features sustainable design elements such as a green roof terrace and a geothermal heat pump system.
