The Neumann Monson Architects office is LEED Gold Certified and is the only architectural office in Iowa to attain this certification. Initiatives utilized to achieve this goal include: natural daylighting, daylight sensors and occupancy sensors to control artificial light fixtures, and the use of low VOC materials with high-recycled content. This office takes full advantage of daylighting and surrounding views through the incorporation of floor-to-ceiling perimeter windows. The open floor plan allows for daylight to evenly flow throughout the entire depth of the office space. Supporting the firm’s work process, interconnected and open workstations ensure collaborative interaction, while cantilevered workspaces and a centrally located hospitality bar encourages spontaneous gatherings. Glass enclosed conference rooms support traditional meetings and maintain a bright, open environment.
